Peter just returned from a period of amnesia, greatly relieving his friends and Aunt May who was virtually at death’s door throughout all of it.

So now, in issue #59, Peter reunites with Harry and the two are totally cool again.

The use of “Pumpkin eater” there is kinda ironic, isn’t it?

MJ’s got a new job, but of course there’s a catch.

You’ve seen this checkered green suit of Harry’s before, quite a lot in fact! It was not only in last issue but also in issue #45 and the issue where Peter and Harry had their first heart-to-heart.

Harry’s well-connected enough to recognize political figures at the party.

Don’t you just love the completely inane way they all refer to each other?

Of course, something is going horribly wrong, and Peter’s friends are all sitting out there vulnerable. Quick! Onto #60!

Harry referring to MJ as “girl” is both winceworthily 60s sexist and kind of funny.

Captain Stacy returns, but Peter doesn’t. Where is he?

Harry has, in contrast to some earlier feelings, accepted by this point that sometimes Peter just disappears for days on end.

When Harry goes back home, two heavys show up looking for Peter. Needless to say, this freaks him out quite a bit.

But Harry, who is actually a long way from the coward he’s occasionally portrayed as, immediately informs Peter and offers to stick around with him despite armed men knowing their location. Awww.

Stay tuned to see how this one pans out…
