Gwen Stacy is coming to the new Ultimate universe… as Harry’s wife!
She’s looking good. But what a can of worms this opens! I admit I am not one hundred percent enthused about the idea, because this development seems to treat Gwen and Liz (Harry’s 616 wife, also blonde) as interchangeable characters and I don’t love that.
But I think this has the potential to go in some very interesting directions… if they don’t kill Gwen. I saw one idea suggesting she could one day inherit Harry’s Green Goblin mantle (him being more of a vigilante than a supervillain in this ‘verse) and that idea has merit. Gwen Goblin!
I wonder if Harry and Gwen have kids in this universe. Does Normie still exist?

btw, I don’t see nothing wrong. Liz and Gwen are very different between them. Lily Hollister is blond too. I think Harry has a thing for blondies 😁

I don’t strongly ship them but I’m happy Marvel is using Harry and Gwen’s bond and history more these days. I hope Ultimate remembers that Gwen is the boss in their dynamic, and I hope they don’t just make her the suffering voice of conscious or whatever.
If they did something with the fact that both had a vendetta against Spider-Man for their father’s deaths at somepoint in 616, that would be rad! I’d love seeing her have a go with the mantle, or even if they get to share it.
