Everything you should know about Graham Phillips, Spider-Man 2’s Harry Osborn

Actor Graham Phillips has been cast as Harry in Insomniac’s Spider-Man 2, replacing Scott Porter. He’s a good choice, I think! Course, we have to wait a few months to really see him in action in the game, but his voice and motion-capture performance can be seen in the trailer!

Here’s everything you need to know about him.

You’ve probably seen him before

Graham has been in many popular TV shows, including The Good Wife, Riverdale and Atypical. He was also one of Steve Carrell’s kids in Evan Almighty, and he played Prince Eric opposite Auliʻi Cravalho in The Little Mermaid Live!

Oh yeah, he can sing too. In fact, he has a background in Broadway and was also on the 2006 Meat Loaf album Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose!

He once played Ben 10

Remember that franchise? As a kid, Graham played the title character in the live-action TV movie Ben 10: Race Against Time. Hey, guess who else was a Ben 10? Yuri Lowenthal, Insomniac’s Peter Parker! He played him in Ben 10: Alien Force. The more you know.

He dated Ariana Grande

Apparently they met while doing the Broadway show “13” and dated from 2008-2011ish. Obviously they’re no longer together but they are by all accounts still friends! He even stepped her to defend her that time when her licking a doughnut went viral across the internet.

Julianna Margulies convinced him to go to college

Graham played Julianna Margulies’ son on The Good Wife and he told People in 2016 that it was she who convinced him to study at college.

“She went to Sarah Lawrence, and her argument was that your acting will always be best served when you have more in your arsenal. The more you know, the easier it is to understand people and to be more empathetic. So, I don’t regret the decision at all.”

He ended up majoring in history and wrote his thesis on indigenous marginalization and resistance in the United States.

He has social media but doesn’t use it very much

Graham has both Twitter – oh wait have we gotta call it “X” now? Yeah I’m not doing that – and Instagram but seems not to post a lot, and when he does it’s mostly about film and theater projects he’s been involved with. This is very wise when you step back and see the state of social media. His Instagram is worth a browse if you want to learn about what he’s been working on recently, though.

His brother, who he works with often, is called “Parker”

This amuses me.
